Estudio Verna
Estudio Verna was born out of a passion for architectural rehabilitation in historical contexts, with a firm commitment to respecting the original fabric of each building and integrating sustainable and efficient solutions.
The founder, Weronika, is an architect with a degree from the Technical University of Dresden and has more than seven years of experience in projects of various scales in Germany, Poland and Spain. Her approach combines the elegance of traditional architecture with the possibilities offered by contemporary technologies and sustainability.
With an official qualification in Germany and a professional association in Spain and Germany, Weronika brings an international outlook to every project. Her fluency in Spanish, German, English and Polish allows her to adapt to different cultural contexts and to fully understand the needs of each client.
Through her travels, she finds inspiration in vernacular architecture and the particularities of the local environment, exploring innovative ways of fusing identity and modernity. Her work encompasses not only the refurbishment of historic spaces, but also new construction projects, with a special interest in timeless single-family homes that dialogue with their natural surroundings.

Inspiration in Vernacular Architecture
Name Verna is derived from vernacular, a term that in architecture refers to traditional constructions, rooted in their environment and adapted to their climate and culture. This authentic architecture, based on classical principles, has been a source of inspiration for my work, where I merge tradition with contemporary and sustainable solutions, such as the Passivhaus standard.
At Estudio Verna, we create timeless spaces that respect their context, integrating history, local materials and technology to improve efficiency and comfort without losing the architectural essence.
