In the heart of Poble-sec, this project recovers the essence of a house with history, respecting its original elements while adapting it to contemporary needs.

The beamed ceiling with volta catalana, witness to the traditional character of the building, has been carefully restored to restore its prominence. The historic windows, with their original shapes and proportions, have been restored to improve comfort without losing their authenticity.

Every decision in this renovation has sought a balance between past and present: natural materials, sustainable solutions and a layout that enhances light and spaciousness, while maintaining the identity of the space.

This intervention in historical context demonstrates that modernising does not mean erasing, but reinterpreting with sensitivity and respect.
