Respecting the Past, Looking to the Future
A Façade with Identity
The intervention on the façade is key to give personality to the house without breaking the harmony of the surroundings. Ceramic tiles have been incorporated in a geometric design that adds texture and colour, a nod to traditional craftsmanship with a modern approach. This material not only beautifies, but also offers durability and easy maintenance.
Wooden Carpentry: Warmth and Sustainability
The windows and doors have been renovated with natural wood carpentry, a noble material that improves thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as providing a warm and welcoming aesthetic. Opting for wood is a sustainable choice, respectful of the environment and with the timeless charm of traditional architecture.
Comfort and Energy Efficiency
One of the main objectives of the renovation has been to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants. The integration of an efficient insulation system reduces heat loss in winter and maintains a comfortable temperature in summer. This not only optimises the comfort in the home, but also reduces energy consumption and thus the costs on the energy bill.
Respecting the Past, Looking to the Future
Every detail of this intervention has been designed to honour the history of the house, while adapting it to today’s needs. It is a balance between old and new, between memory and innovation. Thus, this renovation not only beautifies a house, but also makes it more functional, efficient and ready for the future, without losing its traditional soul.
